Please feel free to experiment!
You have several fonts to type with. You can change them whenever you want.
Font size will make your typing very very tiny or very very HUGE! You can change the color with that beach ball looking icon. Just click on the color that you like best. Do it prior to typing, or "highlight" the words you've already typed and then do it.
You can also make your typing bold, italic, and/or underlined, or all 3 if you choose! If you type something and later you want to correct it, you can always click on "edit" (found in the upper right corner of your already posted post), or if you want to show that you've corrected something, you can use theS with a slash button.
This site supports any type of image file, including gif (the ones you see moving) and png (the ones with an invisible background)
For videos, I HIGHLY recommend you start a Youtube account and upload to that first. When finished uploading, you click on the "share" button on THEIR site to get the code to use here. It will look something like this: https://youtube/8mymn6C0pcw
Find the "insert video" button and copy and paste that link you see when you click on the "share" ability on whatever site you're using. I noticed when you click on the button on this site, there is a LIST of the sites this site will accept links to. So try to limit yourself to one of those sites for this forum's purpose. =)
If you have ANY Problems .... don't hesitate to mention it! One of us will try to help you figure it out.

Experiment with the different formats as well. You can go with the standard paragraph format, or be unusual and go with the centered format like this.

Adding images:
You WILL need another website to link to if you want an image to show up in your posts. Sorry. That's how this site works and we can't control that.
I HIGHLY recommend Photobucket, which is free and has a LOT of storage space and 4 different types of link formats. (Go with the link for it to work on this site). You have to register for an account there, but its FREE. Look for the "upload" button which will enable you to search your computer or phone for the image you want to use. They have apps for android and iOS too. I love that site. You can organize your images there with folders, and even with sub-folders. =)
You can also use Imageshack. I admit I haven't used that site for YEARS! Back then you didn't need to register for an account, but it was free. The only downside I saw was that I couldn't refer back to it to see the images I already used, to use again. Being a pixel manipulator, that's important to me, so they didn't meet my needs. But they're great for an immediate upload so you can post something fast. =)
I'm sure you can also use Dropbox or other sites. You'll have to experiment to see what works and what doesn't. If your image doesn't show up and all you see is the typing, then there's something wrong with the coding you used. I don't pretend to be an expert with coding, but from experience, and failures, I've learned what works. =)
Find the "insert image" button and click on it. You will need to copy and paste the url to link to for the image. It may look something like this: [URL=http://m159.photobucket.cam/user/Lioness/media/Favorite%20Gifs%20and%20jpgs/Sigs/46677b38.jpg. There is also a field to type in a few words, but you can ignore that and leave it blank if you want. You can type MORE words and a better explanation above the image you post.
